Born in Norway in 1982, Ingrid Aspen is an Oslo-based freelance furniture and product designer. After graduating from the National Academy of Art and Design in 2006, she continued her studies at Oslo School of Architecture and Design, and finally at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy.
Ingrid combines her passion of working with colour with precise glassblowing and metalworking techniques to create unique designs that communicate her commitment to feminism and sustainability. Today Ingrid works on a broad range of projects, spanning product design, furniture and interiors. For HAY, Ingrid Aspen has designed the Bottoms Up Vase.
